CalcQueen Tutoring provides expert, personalized mathematics instruction grounded in more than 20 years of teaching excellence. Founded and led by a highly experienced mathematics educator, CalcQueen specializes in helping students build confidence, master complex concepts, and achieve measurable academic growth from Pre-Algebra through AP Calculus.

With a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Arts in Education from Montclair State University, the founder brings both deep content knowledge and proven instructional strategy to every session. As a New Jersey state-certified teacher since 2005, she has spent her career teaching across a wide range of academic settings—including public high schools, universities, professional tutoring organizations, and virtual learning environments.

From 2005 to 2020, she taught mathematics at Livingston High School in New Jersey, where she developed curriculum, led data-driven performance initiatives, and delivered differentiated instruction to meet diverse learner needs. Her work consistently exceeded state compliance and testing goals, while fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments. She also collaborated with district leadership on long-term curriculum planning and professional development initiatives focused on growth, equity, and student well-being.

In addition to her K–12 experience, she has served as an Adjunct Professor at Montclair State University, instructing graduate-level mathematics courses, and was previously recognized as Teacher of the Year during her tenure as an elementary educator. Since 2008, she has worked as a freelance and remote mathematics instructor, providing high-quality virtual instruction and assessment for students nationwide.

CalcQueen Tutoring blends rigorous academics with mentorship, goal setting, and individualized learning plans. Sessions are thoughtfully designed using formative assessments, technology tools, and proven teaching methods to help students close gaps, strengthen problem-solving skills, and develop lasting mathematical confidence.
